The 4% fee is deducted automatically from each registration payment before it reaches your Stripe account. There's nothing extra for parents to pay.

Yes. If your camp price is $0, there is no platform fee on registrations. Publishing is free, so running a free camp costs nothing.

Payments go directly to your connected Stripe account. Stripe pays out on its standard schedule (typically 2 business days for US accounts). You control your payout settings in your Stripe dashboard.

Refunds are handled directly by you as the camp organizer through your Stripe dashboard. MatPad does not process refunds on your behalf. We recommend communicating your refund policy clearly to athletes and families before they register.

Yes. Athlete and parent data is stored securely in Supabase, which is SOC 2 Type II compliant. All payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We never store card numbers or sensitive financial data on our servers.

To accept paid registrations, yes. You'll connect your Stripe account during onboarding, which takes about 5 minutes. For free camps, no Stripe account is required.

MatPad works on any modern device, whether phone, tablet, or desktop. The registration form for athletes and parents is fully mobile-optimized.
